FitPort needs access to the Health app

FitPort needs access to Apple's Health app (HealthKit).

You can grant or deny permissions separately for each type of data.

We recommend enabling both writing and reading permissions for the items you want to use. This app will never send your health data or personal information anywhere. Data entered within the app will be securely stored in the Health app.

How to change permissions

If you deny access, the next time you wish to change it, you will need to do so from the Health app. The following steps are for iOS 17 and watchOS 10; the process may vary slightly if you use a different OS version.

Normally, the Health permissions sync between iPhone and Apple Watch by the OS. However, sometimes, they may get out of sync, causing data access issues. In such cases, please follow these steps on iPhone and Apple Watch both.

iPhone:

  1. Open Apple's Health app
  2. Tap Sharing at the bottom tab
  3. Tap Apps and Services
  4. Tap FitPort
  5. Tap Turn On All (or turn switches on items you want to use. Both Read & Write)
⚠️ If you cannot see your data despite all switches being on, it may have some permissions issues. Try turning everything off once, then turning everything back on with "Turn All On" to restore normal functionality.

Apple Watch:

  1. Open Settings app on your Watch
  2. Tap Health
